Heritage Green Nursing Home

programs and  recreation

Heritage Green provides a diverse range of recreational programs available during the day, evening, and weekends. Upon admission, each resident undergoes a personalized assessment, where their social history and leisure preferences are explored—family input is welcome when needed. The recreation team then collaborates with each resident to design tailored programs that cater to their unique interests, needs, and abilities

At Heritage Green, providing a safe and caring environment for our residents is our top priority, but we also place great emphasis on our wide array of activity and social programs. The Programs Department is dedicated to meeting the social, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of our valued residents. Our Recreational Programs aim to enhance independence, mobility, and the overall quality of life for our residents.  To foster a strong sense of community, we offer numerous opportunities for residents to connect, socialize, and form lasting friendships,  In addition to our recreational and social programs, we also provides cognitive training resources to help residents maintain and improve problem-solving and self-expression skills. Our programs are updated monthly. We actively encourage participation from residents and their families to create a sense of comfort and belonging within the community. For non-English-speaking residents, some of our bilingual staff and volunteers are available to assist with communication.
